News for Winter 2011/12
I
can't believe 2011 is coming to an end, what a great year it has been. I
have met some new and amazing artists. My client base has expanded to
include up-and-coming photographers, fibre artists as well as more traditional painters.
Something
that became quite evident this year is the need for more personal one-on-one
service with my clients, so to this end, I will be converting from standard
opening hours to booking appointments only. I will likely maintain my
regular studio hours, but I would strongly suggest calling to confirm I
am available to serve you. The other advantage to this, it allows some
extended meeting times, I will be booking occasional Wednesday evening
and Saturday appointments for those that were unable to get here during
my previous hours of operation. I believe this will be a win-win for
all.
Wow,
what a success the "Call for Abstracts" was, I wish I had more places
to display all the great submissions, which topped over 250. There was
some very difficult choices, my client, Tom Hitchman of Naylor Group Inc., was overwhelmed with the response
and completely thrilled with the final result. The final three selected came from Lora Kakaletris of Moore Photography "Rusty Roof", Edward Eastman of A Mind's Eye "AGO-Stairs" and Lisa Horvath of True Life Photography "Rusty Illusions", what a great display they make. Thank you all, who participated.
